Jennifer Kaplan Schreiber

Jennifer Kaplan Schreiber, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from Simmons College School of Social Work. She earned a Fellow in Thanatology (the study of death, dying and bereavement) from the Association of Death Education and Counseling. An FT is an advanced professional certification for practitioners and educators in the discipline of death, dying, and bereavement. As Founder of FRIENDS WAY, Rhode Island’s only independent children’s grief center, she has worked extensively with bereaved children, teens and families in various settings and has provided crisis intervention, professional trainings and education to the community-at-large regarding issues of grief and loss. Jenny spent 12 years at Camp Pembroke as a camper and then counselor.
